Intensive underwater massage performed in a special bath tub via small jets of water replete with tiny air bubbles. Suitable for the treatment of the locomotive organs, post surgical conditions, muscle and joint injuries, certain vein conditions and arthritis.
CO2 bath
CO2 has a positive effect on the circulatory systém in the way of widening the arteries. The patient sits still in the water. Except of the first minute in the bath, the patient should not feel any discomfort due to cold. The water is kept under the constant temperature of 35°C. A proper bath will manifests itself by a skin erythema in most cases. This bath takes 15 minutes after which the patient rests for the same amount of time wrapped in sheets.
Pearl bubble bath
Soft massage of the skin and the subcutaneous tissues via a stream of compressed air coming out of small openings lining the bottom of the tub. The bubbles pass upward through the bath and create the massaging effect by coming into contact with the patient's body. This massage has a genial effect on the mind and body. The water is kept at 37°C and the bath takes 15 minutes. The patient then rests wrapped in sheets for additional 15 minutes.
Underwater massage
The client's body is submerged and massaged by separate air and water jets placed on the inside of the tub. The optimal water temperature is 37°C and the bath takes 15 minutes.
Whirlpool bath of lower or upper extremities
Underwater massage combining the effects of heat and strong mechanical irritation caused by the streams of water. The bath acts locally and increases blood flow in the extremities. Because of its relaxing effects, this bath is recommended for patients after injuries, with pains in lower extremities, swollen feet. The water temperature is maintained at 37°C and the bath takes 10 minutes. Warning: this bath is not suitable for patients with varicose veins.
Dead Sea salt bath
Sea salt has anti inflammatory and hydratation effects. It helps in cell regeneration and is essential for cell metabolism. The optimal temperature is 36°C with the patient resting wrapped in sheets after the bath.
