Paraffin packs
Paraffin solidifies at the temperature range of 52°C - 62°C while releasing large amount of heat. The heat helps to relieve muscle tension. Paraffin packs are applied in the form of large "pancakes". The pancakes are covered by a plastic cover and a sheet. Paraffin packs are best used before massages, electotherapy and mobilisation techniques. Time of application - 20 minutes.
Laserotherapy
Laserotherapy utilizes the energy of the laser beam applied on the affected area with the aim of relieving pain. Laserotherapy is suitable for skin defects, fresh scars, colloidal scars up to 2 years old, tennis elbow, tendon base pains, neuralgic back pains, etc. Duration depends on the diagnosis and may také between 1 - 60 minutes.
Magnetotherapy
Popular procedure due to its analgetic effects. Warning: This procedure must not be applied to individuals with cardiostimulators.
